Hi Avila Family,
I married an Avila and have been fortunate to find my husband's ancestors
who are from Faial from geneweb.

The names are as follows:
Eduino Gomes Avila (1930 - 1998)
Jose Gomes Avila, Jr.
Jose Gomes de Avila (1874 - ) Praia do Norte, Faial
Jose Silveira Gomes de Avila (1840 - ) Praia do Norte, Faial and Angelica
Maria da Silveira
Manuel Gomes Ferreira (1811 - 1856) & Maria Francisca
Jose Silveira Gomes (1782 - 1867) Capelo, Faial and Inacia Eugina
Antonio Gomes Ferreira (?) Capelo, Faial and Ana Maria

My great-great-grandmother, Mariana Clara Agostinho, who was from Ribeira
Seca, Sao Jorge, married (second husband) Manuel Inacio Avila (1856 - 1894)
son of
Jose Inacio Avila (1835 - ) and Barbara Jesus Silveira (1831 - 1899)
grandson of
Inacio Joaquim Silveira (?) and Barbara Josefa (1805 - 1844)

Any relation?

Thank you for sharing your findings.
