On the 28 day of the month of September in the year 1910 in the sacred parochial church of Santa Cruz, Matris of Villa da Praia Vitoria, diocese of Angra do Heroism, solemnly baptized an individual of the female sex, who was given the name Maria, who was born in this village at 3 hours in the morning on the 22 day of the month of September of the same year, the legitimate daughter of Manuel Borges Pires, (civil police?) and Rosa Candida, occupation domestic, natives, married, parishioners of this village living in the Rue do Conde de Villa Flor; the paternal granddaughter of Manuel Borges Pires and Maria Jose da Silva, and maternal of Jose Vieira and Rosa Candida. For Godfather Guilherme dos Reys, married, administrator of this council of Praia da Vitoria, and Godmother Dona Maria do Carmello Toste (Nogueira?), single, occupation domestic..... First side notation. Married ??? Manuel Machado, native of the village of Ribeirinha of the council of Lajes do Pico...???? Paria do Victoria 15 day of August 1937 ????
