My aunt told me years ago that my great-grandfather Jose Joaquin Lucas, Urzalina District, Sao Jorge (born Jun 1840) came to the MA area with one or two of his sisters, with one named Rosa. She stayed in MA, but my g.g.father came to Mission San Jose area, CA. His parents were Jose Joaquin Lucas and Josefa Luisa Dutra. That is what is one the Mission records. Do any of the names ring a bell with anyone? He was tall, blond, blue eyes. Did work on whaling ship out of MA for a time I can't seem to find any of them on the CCA as yet, but Urzaline records are not all in one piece, which is unfortunate. Thank you for any help.
