Altino,

Without any doubt, it's Manuel Pires (written as mel pires), as many have also said.

Subject: [AZORES-Genealogy] Opinion on a hard to read name

Hi everyone,

I have a record that has a name that's difficult to read. I've been able to make out the groom's name and his mother as well as the bride and her parents, but the groom's father is difficult to figure out. I'm attaching the record and have circled the groom's father.

Hopefully with the opinions of the group i can come to some kind of consensus.

Thanks everyone.
