Make sure you go to the Portuguese Genealogical & Historical Society of Hawaii 810 North Vineyard Blvd, room 11 Honolulu, Hawaii 96817 (808-841-5044 Library/office) They have a database of portuguese immigrants to Hawaii and their descendentsof over 262,000 names very helpful. plus the university of Hawaii campus will help in research.
