Pat was one of the founding members of the American Portuguese Genealogical and Historical Society, now defunct. The APGHS library collection, which used be housed in the Taunton Public Library, was given to the Ferreira-Mendes Center at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. Among the APGHS collection was a very large, specially constructed, wooden cabinet containing information on index cards on much of what Pat researched. I also think (though my memory may be faulty) that Pat bequeathed much of her Portuguese genealogy papers to the APGHS and it might be with the Ferreira Mendes materials. A call to the Ferreira Mendes folks at UMass-Dartmouth might be money well spent.
