You can also upgrade to the 67 or 111 market Y-DNA test.

We just did this for my father. I wonder how long it will take for the results.

We don't have any 37 marker matches yet, but figured one will eventually show up and we'll be ready then.

Apparently, it also confirms some suspected results from the 37 marker test.

I wonder of my Camacho ancestors from Pico trace back and connect with yours from Madeira.

Mine on Pico are there since the 1500s, so it would be a remote connection, but a connection nonetheless.

I have a remote ancestor who came from Madeira to Terceira in the late 1500s, so there is every possibility that the same happened for Camacho.

Hi Cheri, I am sure you have been asked this question and you are welcome to direct your email to me.  I get confused on this DNA stuff, but I believe I have completed the Y.  I did it a few years back and I was thinking of either upgrading or doing another one that you have spoken to me about.  Can you tell me what would work or not work for me.
