Hi Joy,
These are death records. The bottom right record is the one having to do
with your Manuel Silveira, however it relates to the wife of Manuel
Silveira. You will have to scroll back on the years to find the
death record of your Manuel Silveira. It states:
Maria Faustina, widow of Manuel Silveira, natural of the fregusesa of this
chuch of Santa Catherina of the town of Calheta of the Island of Sao Jorge,
died on the 26* (may be 23?) of the month of June in the year 1859, age of
81 years, having been allowed to recieved the Divine Sacraments of the sick
on the 27th of the same month and year, your trust has been accompanied by
the members of this said church...
It goes on to say that she was buried in the cemetery of the church, and is
signed Cura Antonio de Mattos Freitas.
Hope this helps,
David
