Cindy; I'm not technically savvy but; you should be able to read the book on your computer/laptop/etc. I have a Kindle but; can also read my books on my laptop. I have however; downloaded to my computer the free Kindle reading app. I think you could also download the Adobe reader and then be able to read it. Check back on the Amazon site as I think they have links explaining about ebooks and edocs and what you need to be able to open them. Good luck, Sam in CA
