Just got back from Sao Miguel. Thanks to taxi-tour driver, we found family still living on the same hill (lomba) in the same small village where they have lived for generations. Driver found someone to get me in the church and locked cemetery gate. I can't speak Portuguese so he spoke for me. The people working in the Archives in both towns were great. It was a wonderful trip. Nancy
