Rick, HP just had a sale last week on their Windows 7 computers - I don't now if it is still going on in case anyone else is interested. They must have some understanding to be able to still offer 7 on some of their computers because no one else does as far as I know. I did not want a Windows 8 so I ordered a Windows 7 laptop from them a few months back and I am very happy with it because I can still use my FTM 16 as I installed a 32/64 program for it.
