Does anyone have a database where they could look up a marriage record for
Joao Jose das Neves and Francisca Mariana probably from Candelaria, Pico,
but it could be from somewhere else. I have looked and not been able to
find it so far. There is a marriage rec for a Joao Jose das Neves and
Isabel Francisca Sao Jose from 1756, but that might be from a 1st marriage.
The first child that I know of from the second marriage was Eleuterio
(later went be Antonio) born in 1782 in Candelaria, Pico.
I also cannot find the first marriage record for Antonio Jose das Neves who
is the son of Joao Jose das Neves. He married Isabel Tomazia, but I have
only been able to find the second marriage. His first wife died in 1835 and
he was married in 1838 (with a child born 1836 before his 2nd marriage) to
Maria Francisca. Their children were born in Sao Matheus, Madelena, Pico.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
