The name Dutra is descended from the original "Captian Donatry " of the island of Fayal. All Dutras are linked to him. You will have to discover which parish on the island of Fayal he was from. When you will find the parish you will then find the church records. The Mormon church has made copies of all the Fayal island parish church records.
