I just wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow is the first of the month and to back up your computer. Backups work! I had a hard drive go on life support two weeks ago and was able to restore ALL my files on my new computer. If I lost anything I haven't missed it. I had been doing a daily backup and was up to date. Having an external hard drive and using windows 8 which works in the background is easy; I never have to worry about my files. Cheri is in the same situation and will be replacing her Hard Drive/Computer this week. She has a backup also. If I consider the countless hours I have spent with my genealogy files having a backup is priceless.
