Hello everyone. Every day I look at other peoples successes & wonder if I too could have a little luck! I am looking for anything regarding my gt grandfather. I am hoping the following people are related to me. The information has been accessed from; Massachusetts Town & Vital Records 1620-1988.. Francis Joseph Birth Date About 1834 Event Marriage Event City Boston Marriage date 22nd Jan 1863 Marrige Age 29 Father Name Antonio Mother Name Mary Spouse Name Mary Silva Spouse Marriage Age 22 Spouse Father Name Antonio Silva Spouse Mother Name Mary I really want to know what happened to the newly married couple subsequently. Did the marriage last? Did he go to sea and be never heard of again? Did they get divorced? I have some reason to believe Francis Joseph is my gt grandfather because of his age & the names of his parents. If it is, he arrived in New Zealand about 1864 and in 1883 when he married claimed he was a widower. I have exhausted all NZ Govt files & unfortunately the oldest Catholic in his NZ home town had 100 years of church records destroyed by fire. So here I am stuck!! I can be e-mailed privately.
