Repost for Nell, Does anyone have Angelica Francisca da Silveira (Matos) born in Praia do Norte, Faial in 1898 in their line? She was my grandmother, and i'm interested if anyone knows from what part of the world her ancestors were from. She and her sister were both large, big-boned women, fair-haired and skin, and blue-eyed. I am aware the Azores were populated by the Flemish but wonder if anyone has more info.
