Just got off the phone with FTDNA. The Population Finder bar that was under the matches of the Family Finder page is really called Geo Ancestral Origins.
The customer service girl said it is best to email FTDNA so they can see the numbers of people who want it as an option. 1) Start a new email. Address it to: [email protected] 2) Subject: Population Finder bar, Geo Ancestral Origins bar, whatever you want to call it. 3) Body: Tell FTDNA that you would like to see the Geo Ancestral Origins bar as a setting option. Tell them you find it useful in sorting your matches.
