Can you please tell me which of these came to the US and where they settled? I have been trying to find them but it would be easier if I knew that they came to the US. My great-grandparents were Manuel Martins & Maria Evangelina Martins. Manuel died around 1953 or so and Maria died before than. Manuel re-married and had one child. The children of Manuel Martins & Maria Evangelina: Odete Martins-Not sure if she is still alive Fernanda Martins-Resendes(Not sure if this is the correct last name). Has 3 daughters probably living in California. Names are Teresa, Paula & Esmeralda. Joao Resendes is the dad. Again not sure if Resendes was the last name Jose Martins-Died Mariano Martins-Died but his wife and children came to Massachusetts also and had one son working with MCI(a telephone company) and he got in contact with the family ages ago. Norberto Martins-probably alive >From the second marriage: Julio Martins-probably still alive. On a side note. My grandfather had a cousin living here in Massachusetts that was Fillipino his name was Verba Martins and he had a daugther named Maria Martins Everyone hailed from Sao Jose-Ponta Delgada. Again all this information was what my grandmother gave me today. Thank you again for the help.
