Yes, they emailed me back too. I consider emailing them under my other
email addy, but they know that one too!

I'm going to guess that they will sit on the decision until the conference
and then bounce the idea of the admins.  That doesn't mean stop telling
them that you want the Geo Ancestral Origins bar/button thing back.  Keep
on emailing them.

For those that missed the previous email, those who tested their autosomal
DNA (Family Finder) had the ability to see their matches' Population Finder
via the new Geo Ancestral Origin bar thing.  FTDNA had some negative
feedback about too much information being shared, so they pulled it.
Melinda Lopes initially posted (among others) about making it an option or
setting on the personal preferences page.  So if you've tested Family
Finder and want the option of having others see your Population Finder
results, email FTDNA at [email protected] and tell them you'd like to see the
Geo Ancestral Origins bar back.  The more individuals they hear from, the
more likely they are to consider it as a option or setting.
