I agree with Cheri, try out the sample programs. I however am an Ancestral
Quest user. There is a free version of AQ available online to download. It
is usable, but does not include all of the "goodies" that come with the
full version.

I am biased because AQ is written by a friend of mine. He is the one that
originally wrote the PAF program.

On the AQ website, I believe there is a place to email questions or a phone
number to call with questions.
