Here's the thing on Family Finder and the gift card.... When they announced the sale on Sunday, they said that they can discount the products that they make a profit on. They can't discount something that really is not that profitable to them. With Family Finder at $99 now, it's not a big profit maker for them. So to entice people to buy it, they offered the gift card to Restaurant.com.
Go to the Restaurant.com web site and type in your ZIP code. It will give you restaurants within a 15 mile radius (you can change that). MOST of the participating restaurants are the smaller ones or maybe a couple of small chains. I didn't see any big chain restaurants, at least in my area. But I saw a couple of smaller ones that I go to. And that chicken place that closed a few years back. I now know where they moved. $100 on chicken lunches? I can probably get 10 - 12 lunches out of that! LOL The $10 off when uploading your Gedcom still stands. I think that can be used for Family Finder. They've had over 1000 Gedcoms uploaded since that promotion began, so they are going to keep it for a while to entice people to get their Gedcom uploaded.
