Thank you Maria, do not give up in your search. I was this Summer in S. Miguel and spent various times in the computer there a good 7 hours looking for my grandfather w/no success. On my last day there I spent 1 hr. looking. My problem was I did not have a date of when he was born only by luck I found out when my great grandparents got married and from that date 9 months later started my search. In my search I have uncovered a mystery, there was a child born to my great grandparents but she must have died and so far have talked to 2 family members and they know nothing about this child. On some of the records from S. Roque if a child died they would record the death but nothing on this one. Maybe if obituaries are up I can find out something.
