This is an example where you must use logic as much as anything else.
I am not looking at whether I have the answer, but first you look for the record on the two dates you have.
One might be simply the wrong parents. If they both seem they could be right, then maybe you can find the death date and see how old he was. That is unreliable, but still gives you some approximate age.
Then, is it logical for him to be the younger person and having the children he had? If he was only 15 when his first kid was born, then that's probably wrong. If he was over 100 when he died, that's also probably wrong.
In the end, it will be a judgement call based on logic.
