I just checked my other email (where I get all the sales promotions) and I saw this:
RootsMagic is on sale for $20 includes the printed user's guide. Offer good through Dec. 30th. http://www.rootsmagic.com/holidayoffer/ <http://www.rootsmagic.com> Legacy's newsletter did not announce a holiday sale, but said their new 8.0 was out for $30 (download only). Book and software is $40. http://www.legacyfamilytreestore.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1 Legacy usually has a sale. The Master Genealogist (TMG) used to have a sale at the end of the year but they have not done that in the last 2 or so years. I don't think Family Tree Maker (FTM) has any kind of sale.
