As a general rule, check the bride's church first.  If the bride and groom
were from different churches, then most of the time, it was at the bride's
church.  If it's not at the bride's, then check the groom's.  If it's not
at either, then double (or sometimes triple) check yourself.  Then work you
way around to area churches.

I'd say my marriages were 99% in the bride's or groom's church.
