I recently discovered more of my Azorean ancestors going back to the 1680s
in Angra do Heroísmo. However, I'm having trouble deciphering the
information next to my 8th great-grandmother's name. Can anyone make it
out? The record is on the following page, bottom right.

http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/TER-AH-CONCEICAO-C-1681-1714/TER-AH-CONCEICAO-C-1681-1714_item1/P16.html

Lourenço Franco (also known as Lourenço Vaz Franco) was a ship captain and
there are actually some records of him being part of a shipwreck off the
coast of Brazil in 1693. However, what I'm intrigued about on this record
is the information about his wife Maria de Macedo. It says that he married
Maria de Macedo, and then there's a word that follows that I can't make
out. It looks like "uececca" which means nothing to me. I would
appreciate anyone's help if they can decipher it.

Thanks.

Rodney
