Has anyone come across a Manuel Pereira and Maria de Jesus who were from Sao Pedro in Ponta Delgada? I have been searching for their wedding or baptism records. I have also searched for their obituaries with no success. Both were very common names which makes the search especially difficult. Manuel is listed as my gg grandmother's ( Maria da Encarnacao) father and he died before 1 Aug 1857. I did learn from a list member a couple of months ago, that his daughter Maria de Encarnacao married Manuel de Medeiros who was from Sao Jorge, Nordeste on 31 Oct 1847. The marriage took place in Sao Pedro Ponta Delgada. The trail goes cold after that, and I am trying to locate Manuel Pereira's parents or his wife Maria De Jesus's parents. I would estimate that both were born circa 1820-1830. Any help is appreciated Herb
