Jane, If you can get a birthdate from the cemetery, then maybe I can locate his baptism record in Flores. He would be recorded there as Antonio Lourenco, and I would guess the de Fraga comes from the mother's family. The parents may be Manuel Lourenco and Maria ( de Conceicao, de Jesus, de Gloria, etc) with de Fraga parents.
These name combinations point toward the north of the island.
