of this parish of Diveino Espirito Santo paternal granddaughter of Angelo de
Mello and Rita Thomasia and maternal Francisco d'____ Faria (?) and Rosa
Narcisa born the fifteenth day of July in the year eighteen hundred forty seven
and baptised on the 1st of August of the same year baptized in the baptismal
font of this church with my permission by Tresurer/Priest Francisco Xavier de
Macedo Godparents Jose Francisco da Roia? and his wife Maria Candida, witnesses
the before mentioned godfather and Antonio Manuel Fialho and to let it be known
I the Vicar made this record in the date year above mentioned.

I am trying to help a friend translate and Cheri indicated that the copy of the
record did not come through. It is the record on the right hand page for Rita.

My attempt at translation was:

Francisco _______ Macedo (? really unsure of this name) Godparents Jose (?)
Francisco da Rosa and his wife Maria Candida _______________ and Godfather
Antonio Manuel Fialho (next word is wife but I don't know what the rest says ??)
also, I have absolutely no idea what the margin note says. Any help with
corrections and filling in the blanks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
