I have traced three Andrade families on Faial. The Dutra Andrade, Garcia Andrade, Silveira Andrade back to the early1700's. I have traced my Dutra Andrade line back to Joao Ferreira Andrada born in 1680 in Riberinha, Faial. The records have ended. Book No. 1 was destroyed by the ink and I cannot go back any further. I was hoping to connect all three families an find a progenitor for all three families. I use Ancestral Quest to organize my data. I have extended the line in different directions but cannot g back any further.
