For those thinking of coming to our Genealogy Conference and Research Trip in Salt Lake City, Utah, from April 15-18th, 2014, our first deadline is fast approaching.
You need to have your hotel room booked by Friday, March 14th! Salt Lake Plaza Hotel (800) 366-3684. Say you are with the Azores Conference. After the 14th, any remaining rooms in our block will be released for the general public. After all, the hotel is in the business of selling as many rooms as they can. Although we don't have a specific class to teach about Madeira's ARM, we will still be able to help. The order of the classes has changed due to scheduling conflicts with the Family History Library. You will have the corrected copy given to you at the conference. If you have a non-Portuguese genealogy friend that wants to come along to get the group rate (stay 3 nights and get the 4th free), they are welcome to attend. They can call the hotel and say Azores conference. Just email me and let me know so I won't wonder why I have a John Smith in our group!
