Paul G, I know that Bruce Buzbee, the developer of RootsMagic is open to suggestions. I know Bob Velke of The Master Genealogist welcomes suggestions from his users, and I believe Geoff Rassmussen of Legacy may be as well. I haven't had that much interaction with Geoff, but have spoken with Bob and Bruce. Drop Bruce an email. He does get a lot, so he may not answer you right away.
