Dick Eastman wrote about the possible buy out or merger of Time Warner and
Comcast.  He illustrates with some scenarios and why people shouldn't use
the email address provided by the cable, DSL, FiOS, broadband companies.
Then he goes on to write:

For most people, that means obtaining a *FREE* Gmail (Google Mail), Yahoo
Mail, Outlook.com (formerly Hotmail), or similar service. Most of these
