This is a marvelous book filled with facts/pictures/stories. Very much worth even $30 and softbound. I have the hardbound copy myself and refer to it many times! So happy that it is now in reprint! Rosemarie

It is soft cover (the original was hard bound) and I think I heard it costs $30, but you'll have to confirm that with my father or Mary Ann, our president (I'm sure she will post a comment, since she's on this list). This reprint contains many corrections and a few additions, I believe. If you have family in Sacramento, I believe you will find this book of great interest. And even if you don't have family, the first half of the book is full of the Portuguese imprint on this area.
