In my research, I haven't run across the first name of "Foster" before. Does anyone have an idea what the original name might have been? Foster Silva was born 26 November 1856 somewhere in the Azores Islands. That's as much as I know right now of his "origins". He arrived in the USA in the mid 1870's and lived in Idaho during the early 1900's.
