The earliest Quaresma I have is Pedro, married in Bretanha on 1 May 1609. No parents are mentioned and I have no descendants. I have a Manuel Ferreira Cardoso and Mariana Cardoso whose child marries in Bretanha in 1706. Manuel da Costa Quaresma and Maria da Cruz da Costa have a child in Bretanha in 1684. António da Costa Quaresma and his wife Maria de Sousa (whose stated age at death gives her a birth year of 1645) have children in S. António além Capelas beginning in 1665.
