I've been told this Google list has over 1200 subscribers, but I never see more than about 20-30 people who post a message. Maybe it's 50-75 if I'm very charitable.
I realize most just want to do what once was called "lurking" and might still be called that, where they just read the messages. Unless everyone subscribes under 10 different emails, I just wonder who are the rest of the subscribers.
So I got an idea. If you have Pico or Terceira ancestors and want a little genealogy gift you can email me in private to one of these two addresses, depending on if you have Pico or Terceira ancestors to get your gift:

This is for people I'm not already in contact with and not for those with whom I might have recently corresponded in private.
If you used to email me and haven't done so in years, I'd be happy to hear from you again. And if we've never exchanged email, I'd love to meet another person with similar ancestry.
If you are an expert genealogist I might have met you long ago by email and my little gift probably won't be of any value to you. Still, I would love to "meet" you. But if you are not so great at research and especially a beginner, you will possibly be thrilled at what I send you.
Depending on how many respond, it could take some time for my reply, so be patient.
