have received a request for DNA testing for a person whose end of line
direct maternal ancestor is Maria de Serpa, wife of Antonio Rodrigues Ferreira.
She was born in the middle 1600s on Pico.
Since
Maria de Serpa is not my own ancestor, this person does not qualify for the free testing I
am offering on my project, but might be in the ancestry of someone else
who is very interested in her mt-DNA haplotype.
