Cheri, It reads: "que nasceu nesta freguesia pela hora e meia da manha" who was born in this parish at 1:30 (hora e meia) in the morning". Not necessary to say "uma" although he should have written it regardless. It could be his style of calling out the time.
Maternal Grandmother Maria Theresa (Teresa) Margin notes: - married at 30-Jan1926 - obtained personal cedula (id booklet) - died 29-Dec-1999 registered Mar of 2000 No.3 - marriage dissolved by death of spouse 29-Nov-1971 registered Aug of 2000 To explain why the dissolution notation of 1975 comes after her obit of 1999. Simply put, unless there was a reason deaths were not required to be registered. Thus the reason you don't see it in all records. In this case there must have been some form of assets after her death for which the family had to set the records straight thus the registration of the spouse's obit after her own. Cheers.
