The Silva surname is way too common to expect this, but it's a funny coincidence that I also have an ancestor named Luzia da Silva. Though mine is from the island of Pico in the 1700s.
I was unable to see your attachment, so it's probably like that for many or most others, by the way.

Hello Cheri MelloI have worked like crazy on my Ancestry over the weeks. Above I have left you an attachment of a photo, and the link that takes you to the pages in the book, I believe written in Portuguese. What I think I can see on the pages is the date 1830 and the signature looks like Luiza da Silva. is the page from where I took the Photo.
