I seem to have reached a bit of a sticking point and I'm hoping someone will help me unstick myself.
I've been using http://www.culturacores.azores.gov.pt/ to conduct my research and the last useful document I found is a baptism record. That record provides the names for the parents, grandparents, and godparents, but I don't have any dates or ages to use as reference. It seems that the only way for me to find older records is to estimate the age of the parents, subtract that from the date I have, then search through each record individually.
