Someone (a female) showed me a tombstone photo of her ancestor a number of years ago. She was unable to find her freguesia. On the front of the tombstone was her immigrant ancestor's usual stuff (name, dates born & died). On the back was written "Three Rivers" - some number and Rivers. I can't quite remember. This was written in English. This was her freguesia!
I can't remember who it was exactly. My vague recollection was she lived in California (maybe San Diego) and the tombstone was from Massachusetts.
