Lee and Eliseu, Many of my Conde family is from Guadalupe, but some originated in Luz. The closest I have is a João de Sousa do Conde, married to Maria Custódia. I have the marriage for their son's marriage (Andre de Sousa do Conde to Rosa Ermelinda do Conde.)

I haven't found a home for this João yet, but I have him in my personal index. Two Conde children died in the same year, one 9 years and the other 8 months (both in the month of November of 1861). Their maternal grandfather is a João Jose do Conde, but his wife is Roza de Mello Pacheco.
