Anthony,

I don't know if you were just curious about the name you found or if you or your wife are actually related to that child, but I just noticed I have a very remote connection to this man using Areias through his mother from way back in the middle 1500s.

Good luck,

Repost for Anthony Martin, anthonyamartin77 at gmail.com

The first name is Manuel Luiz Parreira located at: http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/TER-AH-RIBEIRINHA-B-1890-1899/TER-AH-RIBEIRINHA-B-1890-1899_item1/P15.html. This name appears to show 'Areas' at the end. Would this be an alcunha, or maybe a second surname?
