Hi Eliseu, I should have been more specific with my post and clarified that in my tree I would estimate 95% of Manuel's are first born sons and I have also noted that most first born sons in other family trees from Pico are named Manuel I am not familiar with the general pattern in others islands I realize now I was making a leap.
I will modify my query by prefacing it with the following. 1. Have other members of this list noted if on their family trees the first born son was usually named Manuel? 2 . If so please indicate which island(s) you can confirm this to be the case.
