This is a great thread and glad to see this information help so many. But some of you are creating a bit of a mess. There are now 4 different threads or topics on the Water Lily. Pick the one with the most messages (the original post, I believe) and keep hitting reply. Do not start a new thread.
I'll get a message in 5 months where someone will ask me about immigration to Australia and they will have to hunt through 4 or 5 different topics as they aren't all housed together. And they won't be able to find the post that they were after and will be confused by all the Water Lily threads because they weren't a member when this exchange happened or they didn't think that their ancestor went to Australia and now realized that they did. If you don't understand what I mean, go out to the group archive/web board/ forum and search for a surname and freguesia and click on a few responses. It won't take long before you find out that you are spending a lot of time hunting and hunting. Thanks for understanding!
