The marriage record which I believe is for Luis do Rego and Anna Maria is the left side of the link http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/SMG-RG-ESTRELA-C-1812-1828/SMG-RG-ESTRELA-C-1812-1828_item1/P8.html The Anna Maria’s name may have evolved over the years from Anna Perpetua Rosa.
This is about as far back on this family as I have gone but this record says they are all from NS Estrela only a more complete study of this family would show that. I would also note the father of Luis is Francisco Moniz so it is possible he took his family name from his mother’s side.
