Dear List, Just thought that I would let you know that I received my book on Sao Roque do Pico by Igor Espinola de Franca in today's mail! I think that was very fast! The book is very clear with an index in the back (done the Portuguese way, by first name). It is all in Portuguese but it's very easy to read. You just need to know some basic terms, Casou--Married, Morreu--died, Baptismo--baptised. I haven't read enough to know if naceu is used for birth but that is another term to be aware of in the book.
