(cross posted to Azores, Madeira, and IslandRoutes) I got a question about how does one take a DNA sample.
Family Tree DNA (FTDNA) uses a swab that is scraped inside your cheek. You do one swab for 1 minute on your left cheek and the other swab for 1 minute on your right cheek. You can see here (static web page): http://goo.gl/qzgyWY <http://www.davedorsey.com/dna.html> or here (You Tube video):http://goo.gl/clc6Pv <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN07Adpu7Bs> -- Cheri Mello Listowner, Azores-Gen Researching: Vila Franca, Ponta Garca, Ribeira Quente, Ribeira das Tainhas, Achada -- For options, such as changing to List, Digest, Abridged, or No Mail (vacation) mode, log into your Google account and visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/Azores. Click in the blue area on the right that says "Join this group" and it will take you to "Edit my membership." --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Azores Genealogy" group.
