I was responding to an old post that had noted the names Azevedo and Moraes, I posted my family history in case it would help to fill in any blanks as both names were found in my history and I was wondering if we were related. The thread with pictures was on the SS Homeland, I'll post those pictures here and hopefully anyone interested will find them, >From what I've read there were photographers offering their services on board the SS Homeland when it set out from Ponta Delgada on March 22 1954, I suppose you posed for a picture then bought it if you wanted, here's one of my father and some other gentlemen, all of whom have signed the back.
